Aliyev Reiterates Precondition for Ceasing War Against Artsakh

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has again stated preconditions for stopping the war against Artsakh, despite calls from the international community to halt military operations without any preconditions. According to Aremenpress, in an interview with the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Aliyev outlined his preconditions, even referring to a compromise solution, emphasizing that if a compromise is to be reached, Yerevan should be the first to concede.

Aliyev effectively acknowledged once more that it is his side that initiated the war, stating that if Armenia agrees to make concessions, they are prepared to halt the conflict immediately.
