Turkish Mayor Proposes Illuminating View of Ararat with Turkish and Azerbaijani Flags

Turkish local authorities have decided to set a new global record with lighting technology. The mayor of Ağrı, Savcı Sayın, has announced a plan to illuminate the Armenian-visible section of Mount Ararat with the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan.

According to Armenpress, the mayor made this announcement on his Twitter microblog while also sharing a picture of Ararat lit up with the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

"The Ağrı Municipality is rapidly preparing for this. Soon, you will see this view from the Armenian side of Mount Ararat. I hope this will inspire Armenia on the battlefield," Sayın wrote in his post.
