Turkey Sends New Group of Fighters to Azerbaijan

As more militants return to Syria from Azerbaijan, Turkey is dispatching new groups of mercenaries, reports Infoteka24. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicates that a new group comprising about 230 Syrian fighters has been transferred to Azerbaijan to fight against Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh. Moreover, 22 militants have reportedly fled the conflict zone and returned to Syria.

According to the center's data, during this period, 240 militants have been killed, of which the bodies of 183 have been returned to Syria, while the remains of the others have remained in Azerbaijan. In addition, the Armenian side has captured two Syrian soldiers.
