Razminfo Discusses the Issue of 'Closing the Airspace'
Razminfo has addressed the increasingly discussed issue of 'closing the airspace'. According to the source, it is fundamentally impossible to 'close the airspace' with any particular weapon; even the most powerful and modern air defense systems are vulnerable when considered in isolation.
The observations of Razminfo regarding this issue are as follows:
1. Skillful concealment on the ground;
2. Mass use of decoy targets;
3. Continuous monitoring of the air situation, including through technical means;
4. Selective movement of columns and tactical units to reduce losses in case of aerial strikes;
5. Various air defense measures with different ranges (from anti-aircraft machine guns and portable air defense systems to mobile and stationary large air defense complexes);
6. Various measures of electronic warfare;
7. Operational detection and destruction of enemy air bases and drone control centers through artillery, missile-artillery, or aviation means;
8. ... and, of course, fighter aviation.
This is not an exhaustive list, naturally. The essential point is that, as you can see, there is a substantial and coordinated effort to be undertaken by the entire army.
This certainly does not mean that the army should not be equipped with air defense means. Of course, it should be, but beyond air defense measures, other steps are also necessary. Some of those steps reduce the enemy's air force effectiveness, while others allow for early detection and, of course, destruction of the opponent's air assets.
