Azerbaijan is continuing and ready to contribute to the fight against terrorism. Araik Harutyunyan
Yesterday evening's terrorist act in Vienna, Austria, once again underscored that the fight against international terrorism cannot be selective, as it poses the greatest threat to humanity in our times. No state in the world is insured against terrorism.
In my profound conviction, terrorism should not be associated with any particular civilization, religion, nation, or ethnic group. We express our deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of this tragedy and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
For more than a month now, our country has also become a target of terrorism before the eyes of the entire international community, fighting against Azerbaijan and Turkey's efforts and ambitions to turn the South Caucasus into a new hub of terrorism.
The people of Artsakh are subjected to terrorism and crimes against humanity, suffering significant human and material losses. We strongly condemn any manifestation of terrorism and any attempt to deliberately target peaceful civilians based on ethnic or religious affiliation.
Any act that justifies those who support, finance, and carry out terrorism and extremism, as well as those who incite violence on the grounds of hatred, must be firmly condemned. The Republic of Artsakh continues to adhere to these principles and is ready to contribute to the fight against terrorism, strengthening international and regional security, and will fight to the end for its right to live and develop securely.
