Video: Vardenis Police Uncovers Kalashnikov Rifle Smuggled from Artsakh
On November 1, police officers from the Vardenis division, acting on operational intelligence, stopped a Mitsubishi vehicle in the village of Sotk.
In the trunk, they discovered a factory-numbered Kalashnikov rifle smuggled from Artsakh along with four loaded magazines containing a total of 120 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition. The weapon and ammunition have been seized.
“Dear citizens, we would like to remind you again that during these difficult times, weapons and ammunition should only be used on the battlefield. The police are continuing round-the-clock measures to prevent the illegal transportation of weapons and ammunition from Artsakh to Armenia,” the police statement says.
