Artsakh President Meets with Volunteer Units Named After Vladimir Balayan and Shahen Meghryan
Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan met with the boys of the volunteer units named after Vladimir Balayan and Shahen Meghryan a few hours ago. A recording of the meeting will soon be available on the president's Facebook page, as reported by the spokesperson for the President of Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan.
“By the way, the boys of the volunteer unit named after Shahen Meghryan, led by Commander Roland Aydinyan, recently engaged in close combat with a Turkish special forces unit of 22 personnel near the village of Avetaranots in the Askeran region, eliminating 20 of them. Only 2 managed to flee. The commander said that, with great eagerness, they could have also eliminated those two, but they allowed them to escape so they could share their experiences with their allies afterward. Glory to our heroic defenders of the Fatherland,” he reported.
