Turkey Transfers Militants to the Front Using Civil Airports and Aircraft Without Documentation

Turkey is transferring terrorist groups from Syria to the front lines using civil airports and aircraft. This was reported to Armenpress by Rafael Vardanyan, head of the Forensic Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, who provided details from the interrogation of the captured mercenary terrorist, an Arab national and citizen of the Syrian Arab Republic, Muharrab Muhammad Al Shakheri.

According to the source, Muharrab Muhammad Al Shakheri, who was involved in hostilities on behalf of Azerbaijan for a corresponding payment, along with his group, crossed the border between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Republic of Turkey without any documentation. “Their entry was not hindered in any way by the Turkish Armed Forces, border guards, or police; moreover, the Turkish Armed Forces and police aided their entry from Syria into Turkey,” noted Rafael Vardanyan, adding that these individuals did not have any documents when crossing the border.

“They were transferred to a Turkish civil airport, which was not a military airport, and were transported to another civilian airport in Turkey on a civilian aircraft bearing the Turkish flag, from where they were again transferred to Azerbaijan on a civilian aircraft bearing the Azerbaijani flag. All the airports and aircraft involved were civilian. Thus, the transfer of mercenaries is carried out through civil airports and aircraft,” said the head of the Forensic Department.

These mercenaries were previously given civilian sports uniforms, and did not possess any identification documents, mobile phones, or other items. The entire operation was conducted under the auspices and support of the military-political leadership, the Armed Forces, and police of the Republic of Turkey.

“The financing and armament of these terrorist groups are carried out by the military-political leadership of Turkey. Turkey fully supports and sponsors this war that Azerbaijan has unleashed against Artsakh,” stated Vardanyan. Turkish military personnel manage all artillery, UAVs, and military operations. Thus, everything is controlled by senior Turkish military officials and other servicemen.
