The Brutal Anti-Armenian Sentiment in Azerbaijan Has Become a Way of Life for Broad Sectors of Society: Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has issued a statement regarding the call made by the head of the press service of the 'Qarabagh' football club, Nurlan Ibrahimov.

“The international sports community must know that the call by Nurlan Ibrahimov, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani 'Qarabagh' football club, to ‘kill all Armenians - the elderly, women, children’ is not merely the outburst of a wild extremist, but rather the result of a decades-long state-sponsored policy of anti-Armenianism in the neighboring country. The entire educational system of Azerbaijan, alongside its scientific, cultural, and sports sectors, has been long utilized for this criminal purpose. It is no surprise that brutal anti-Armenian sentiment has become a way of life for broad sectors of society.

This once again proves the impossibility of ensuring the security of the people of Artsakh within Azerbaijan and underlines the indisputable necessity of applying the principle of ‘separation for salvation’ as the only means of resolving the Artsakh issue,” the statement read.
