Terrorists Are Not Transferred to the Region for Peace or Ceasefire - Nikol Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the failed humanitarian ceasefire agreement in an interview with Al Jazeera. When asked why the agreement failed three times, he responded, "Because Azerbaijan violates this ceasefire. Because both Azerbaijan and Turkey essentially declare that they are not prepared to stop military operations. If we follow the public statements, it becomes clear what the reasons are for the continuation of military actions. Because - when we record facts - it is a crucial and now internationally recognized fact, for instance, that Turkey has transferred mercenaries and terrorists from Syria to Azerbaijan to initiate an attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. And terrorists are not transferred to the region for peace or ceasefire. Terrorists and mercenaries are transferred for war."

Commenting on the statement by the President of Azerbaijan that no evidence has been presented regarding the existence of mercenaries in the conflict zone, Pashinyan countered that the internet is flooded with such facts and videos. "Videos made by phone provide the opportunity to accurately determine their geolocation, to see where it took place. And we see that terrorists have filmed themselves after their terrorist act. These recordings have appeared on the internet, and with geolocation, we can prove and pinpoint where these recordings were made. Moreover, we have presented numerous facts. But even before our presentation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation, France, and the United States have officially recognized and accepted that there are mercenaries and terrorists operating in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. I believe this topic has already acquired the status of an internationally established fact, and everything has been said about it," he elaborated.
