Without Verification Mechanisms, A Complete Ceasefire Cannot Exist, Says MoD Representative
The representative of the Ministry of Defense, Artur Hovhannisyan, stated during a press briefing today that regardless of negotiations and agreements, a complete ceasefire cannot be achieved until verification mechanisms are established, for which our Armed Forces are developing proposals and inquiries.
“It is very essential to have mechanisms through which the ceasefire can be monitored and violators can be identified. Moreover, it should initially be clearly stated that the war and aggression were initiated by Azerbaijan. It is crucial to document how the war began,” emphasized Artur Hovhannisyan.
