We Have a Certain Positional Advantage in the South. Our Forces Do Not Retreat

Today, early in the morning, Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched attacks in several directions without the usual extensive artillery preparations. In the north, they attempted to advance with infantry assaults but were unable to, suffering casualties and being pushed back. This was announced during a press briefing by the Ministry of Defense representative, Arzrun Hovhannisyan.

“The enemy attempted to breach our positions with assault groups and dense artillery fire along the Martuni-Jartar direction. Our forces did not retreat, and there is no positional change,” he stated.

The Ministry of Defense representative reported that operations to neutralize armed groups in the forested villages near Shushi, moving westward from Karmir Shukay, are ongoing. A weapons depot belonging to the enemy was destroyed yesterday.

“In the southern direction, we have a certain positional advantage, which we are not disclosing at the moment. The fighting continues,” he added.
