Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan Want to Travel to Moscow
In response to media inquiries, I would like to inform you that former presidents of Artsakh Arkadi Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan have reported during their meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on October 20 that Armenia's first and second presidents, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan, wish to travel to Moscow. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the situation around Artsakh with representatives of the Russian elite and to propose concrete solutions to the current situation for the Armenian government based on the discussions.
The former presidents of Artsakh suggested that the results of a possible visit be discussed during a meeting of the former and current leaders of Armenia and Artsakh. Prime Minister Pashinyan, emphasizing that he cannot be an obstacle to any possible steps in favor of Armenia and Artsakh, agreed to the proposal.
According to our information, the former presidents have not yet left Armenia. In any case, the Prime Minister and the government are open to suggestions for resolving the current situation and have never shied away from discussing such proposals. This was stated by the Prime Minister's spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan on her Facebook page.
