Edward Asryan Awarded the Rank of Major General

Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister, President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree to award Edward Asryan the rank of Major General.

"Taking into account the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with part 2 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of clause 1 of Article 16 of the law on 'Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel,' Major Edward Edison Asryan, Head of the Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, is awarded the military rank of Major General," the presidential decree states.
