The Horrific Scenes We Are Witnessing in Artsakh Cannot Continue: Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross has issued a statement on its Twitter microblog: "The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh is at risk of spiraling out of control. Recent events are a clear warning of this. The entire civilian population of the region is suffering. Civilians are dying at alarming rates. People are sustaining life-altering injuries. We are in contact with the parties to remind them of their obligations under international humanitarian law. The horrific scenes we are witnessing cannot continue. We strongly condemn the recent wave of violence."
