‘Probably, this is the most aggressive day in Stepanakert during this war,’ says Artsakh human rights defender

The Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, announced on his Twitter page that Azerbaijan has launched strong attacks on Stepanakert for several hours, with dozens of rockets already fired.

“Probably, this is the most aggressive day in Stepanakert during this war,” wrote the Human Rights Defender.

Currently, the cities of Stepanakert, Shushi, and Martakert are being shelled by enemy forces using the ‘Smerch’ multiple rocket launcher systems, as reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.

“Once again, the enemy has violated the requirements of international humanitarian and customary law by targeting exclusively civilian settlements, resulting in casualties among the civilian population. The military-political leadership of Azerbaijan is committing yet another war crime. The entire responsibility for the further escalation of the situation rests on Azerbaijan’s criminal leadership,” reads the statement released by the Defense Army.
