New Heroes, New Medals: Defense Army

New heroes have emerged. Senior Lieutenant Sergey Smbati Mkrtchyan has been nominated for the <<Combat Service>> medal for destroying 6 enemy drones during combat operations. Lieutenant Martin Serzhiki Sadikov and private contractor Tigran Arthur Grigoryan are being nominated for the <<For Courage>> medals.

Reservist Davit Martiki Harutyunyan will also be awarded the <<Combat Service>> medal for downing an enemy drone.

Volunteer medics, paramedic Samvel Roberti Sargsyan and driver Vaghinak Vardani Harutyunyan, have distinguished themselves in the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the combat zone and are nominated for the <<For Courage>> medals.

For their contribution to organizing medical services, private contractors Garun Vreji Babayan, Ara Seyrani Shakaryan, Ararat Yuri Saghyan, and sergeant- contractor Nver Mikayeli Kamalyan will be awarded the <<Combat Service>> medals.

Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Valerii Nersesyan will be awarded the 2nd class <<Combat Cross>> for organizing the work of the military commissariat under combat conditions.

Driver, private contractor Davit Arkadi Mkrtchyan will receive the <<Combat Service>> medal for his skillful and courageous actions in successfully carrying out combat tasks.

Moreover, during combat operations, Colonel Arayik Hrachiki Harutyunyan will be awarded the 1st class <<Combat Cross>> for organizing accurate and planned artillery work and contributing to the defeat of enemy forces.
