Gagik Khachatryan Released from Custody

The legal team of former Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan has issued a statement, which notably states: "Given the state of martial law in Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the impossibility of Gagik Khachatryan's presence at court sessions due to his health condition, in addition to the fact that these prolonged and uncertain processes could be critical for Khachatryan's life and health, and he urgently needs medical assistance, the defense has submitted a motion for his release on bail. The defense expresses satisfaction that this time, however, justice has triumphed over everything else.

Due to the state of martial law, as well as risks associated with potential misinterpretation of legal disputes by the enemy and unfavorable representation of Armenia's international reputation, the defense will refrain from additional comments at this stage at the initiative of their client."
