Combat Operations Against Diversion Groups Continue in Martuni and Askeran Villages: Artzruni Hovhannisyan
Combat operations against diversion groups continue in the villages of the Martuni and Askeran regions, primarily in areas adjacent to small settlements in forested areas. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artzruni Hovhannisyan, during a press conference today, October 29.
“Today, these military operations have taken place in the territories of Avetaranots and towards the village of Sghnagh, as well as in the adjacent hills and forested areas. Diversion groups are infiltrating from various directions,” he said.
According to Hovhannisyan, the fight against the infiltration of diversion groups involves a separate military operation: “The tactics are not similar to the separate, intensive combat operations characteristic of regular troop battles or 5th generation warfare.”
Hovhannisyan added that throughout the day, shelling of various communities in Artsakh has continued, mainly using missile and artillery systems.
