Armenian Side Receives Bodies of 29 Fallen Armenian Soldiers: MoD Spokesperson

On October 29, thanks to the exceptional mediation efforts of the Russian Federation, and with the participation of the ICRC and the personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office's field team, the bodies of 29 fallen Armenian soldiers were handed over to the Armenian side during military operations.

At the same time, through the efforts of the ICRC, one civilian has been returned to Armenia.

In turn, the Armenian side has reiterated its willingness to hand over the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers located in the territory of Artsakh, adhering to the agreements reached within the framework of the humanitarian ceasefire. The Armenian side is also prepared to start the process of retrieving bodies from the interposition area along the entire length of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan frontline, as well as to transfer information regarding prisoners of war and subsequently facilitate their exchange.
