The Time Has Come to Show the Strength of Our Arm Against the Remnants of the Wandering Barbarian Tribe: A Call to Arms

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan, has sent a message:

“Generals, officers, sergeants, soldiers of the glorious Armenian army, my fellow soldiers, the time has come to reaffirm the greatness of Armenian military power once again. Our freedom and independence, earned at the cost of countless lives and blood of the best sons of our nation, is again under threat. Azerbaijan, spurred on by the multifaceted support of our age-old enemy Turkey, has not reconciled itself to the crushing defeat it suffered in the military operations it initiated in Artsakh in April 2016 and in northeastern Armenia in July 2020, and has unleashed war once more.

The Defense Army is currently carrying out missile, artillery, and air strikes along the entire front line, simultaneously targeting civilian settlements with artillery fire. The units of the Defense Army, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, are successfully thwarting its plans. My fellow soldiers, I call upon you to continue honorably performing the sacred mission of the Defender of the Fatherland, relying on the strength of our powerful arm, disregarding danger and the enemy, and fighting with complete devotion and self-sacrifice.

Brave warriors of the Armenian army, the time has come to demonstrate your courage of spirit, the strength of your arm, and the infinite hatred against the remnants of the wandering and fatherless barbarian tribe. You are soldiers of an army that has created glorious and brilliant victories. Let us be worthy of the glory of our weapons and name. Our cause is just; we defend the sacred land of our ancestors, the Armenian home, our honor, and our people’s right to live in a free country peacefully.”
