Arayik Harutyunyan Receives Armen Martoyan, Leader of the Crimean Volunteers Union
President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan received Armen Martoyan, the leader of the Crimean Volunteers Union, during his humanitarian visit to Artsakh on October 27. The country’s leader emphasized that during this critical period for Artsakh, the united and coordinated struggle of various diaspora communities provides great strength and zeal to those living in the homeland.
Arayik Harutyunyan also considered such visits important, highlighting that the Armenian community of Crimea has also gone through a difficult yet vital path alongside the people of that country.
Armen Martoyan expressed gratitude to the president for the warm welcome and noted that the Crimean Armenians stand united with their brothers and sisters in Artsakh during these challenging wartime days.
The meeting was attended by Haik Babukhanyan, head of the Armenian club “Friends of Crimea,” and Rudik Hystunants, the chief advisor and special envoy of the President of the Republic of Artsakh.
