Another Proof of Presence of Syrian Mercenaries in Azerbaijan's Border Service

Razminfo presents another piece of evidence about the involvement of Syrian mercenaries in Azerbaijan's State Border Service (SBS). A photograph published by Idlib Post depicts armed individuals wearing SBS uniforms. According to the source, these are mercenaries from Syria. The images show that they are unshaven, indicating that they are not SBS personnel.

Based on the photograph, it appears to have been taken at an SBS military unit, as a wall stand characteristic of the SBS is visible in the background. Furthermore, this very stand has previously been showcased in television reports about the SBS unit in Horadiz.

It is worth noting that on October 3, a video featuring armed Arabic-speaking individuals in Azerbaijani border guard uniforms was published. Razminfo experts identified the filming location and confirmed that the footage was recorded in front of the Horadiz border detachment's military base.

Since the onset of Azerbaijan’s offensive against Artsakh, there have been other video and photographic evidence indicating the presence of mercenaries in the war zone and their participation in military operations.
