1,600 New Coronavirus Infections and 34 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of October 27, 1,600 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infections to 80,410.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 26 citizens have died due to the coronavirus in one day, increasing the total death toll to 1,222.

Additionally, there have been 8 cases of deaths from other diseases among patients infected with the coronavirus in a single day. As of October 27, the total number of such cases is 347.

Overall, 34 people have died in one day, and the total number of deaths reached 1,569.

On the same day, 652 individuals recovered from the virus, with a total of 51,814 recoveries reported, while the number of patients currently undergoing treatment is 27,027, which has increased by 914 within a day.

A total of 3,397 tests were conducted on that day, bringing the overall number of tests conducted to 382,938 to date.
