The Opponent Has Approached the Gates of Syunik, But the Situation Is Not Critical: Defense Ministry Representative

Operations to search for and neutralize diversionary groups continued today in the forests north of Hadrut. This was announced during a press briefing by Defense Ministry representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

“Search and neutralization operations are ongoing in the villages of Shekher, Jivani, and Azokh,” he stated.

The Defense Ministry representative noted that the opponent has achieved some success in certain areas and has approached the gates of Syunik, but the situation is not critical.

“Often we retreat because the lives of people are the most precious. The combat is intense, but it is not hopeless,” added Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
