In Case of Hearing Explosions, Do Not Panic: Artsakh Emergency Situations State Service

Currently, the rescue teams of the Emergency Situations State Service are operating in Stepanakert and the surrounding areas. This has been reported by the Artsakh Emergency Situations State Service. The discovered munitions are being disposed of on the spot. Therefore, we ask you not to panic in case of hearing explosions.
We remind you that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, targeting even the civilian population. As of October 24, the Artsakh armed forces have shot down 16 helicopters, 24 airplanes, 217 drones, and 600 units of armored vehicles, primarily tanks, along with 86 vehicles, 10 armored personnel carriers, 6 ‘TOS-1A’ heavy flamethrower systems, 4 ‘Smerch’ and 1 ‘Uragan’ multiple rocket launcher systems. The adversary has suffered more than 6614 casualties. On the Armenian side, preliminary data indicates 974 casualties.
The Azerbaijani armed forces have also targeted military and civilian infrastructure in both Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in 2 civilian fatalities in Gegharkunik, 40 civilian fatalities in Artsakh, and 120 injuries. Preliminary estimates suggest that more than 6700 private properties have been seriously damaged, alongside over 640 vehicles, and around 1110 infrastructural, public, and industrial facilities.
As a result of the Azerbaijani shelling, journalists from both foreign and local media outlets have been injured.
