After Negotiations, Georgia Allowed the Entry of Several Ambulances into Armenia

This morning, it became known, along with the release of a video, that Georgia was not allowing a batch of ambulances to enter Armenia through the Upper Lars border checkpoint. The batch of ambulances was sent as humanitarian aid by the Armenian community in Russia.

Aurora News contacted the foreign ministry's press office, where we were told that there was no need for concern and they were trying to verify the news's accuracy.

At this moment, it became known that after negotiations, Georgia has allowed the entry of several ambulances destined for Armenia from Russia as part of humanitarian aid through the Kazbegi checkpoint. This was stated by Aram Tananyan, the customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.

“At this time, one trailer with four ambulances has entered, and the issue of the second is being discussed,” said Tananyan. According to him, the entry of the vehicles was previously blocked because they were acquired by private individuals.
