1 Civilian Killed and 2 Injured in Ashotavan Village Shelling: Artsakh Human Rights Defender

The staff of the Artsakh Human Rights Defender has received information that the Azerbaijani side, in violation of the ceasefire agreement established on October 26, has continued shelling the civilian areas of the Republic of Artsakh, reports the Artsakh Human Rights Defender's office.

Throughout the day, several settlements have been subjected to prolonged shelling, including the village of Ashotavan in the Askeran region, where one civilian, Gevorg Hambardzumyan, was killed and two others, Henrik Adamyan and Andrey Hambardzumyan, were injured as a result of strikes from the 'Smerch' multiple rocket launcher system just an hour ago.
