Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Meets with Representatives of the Armenian Community in the U.S.
During an official visit to the United States, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held a meeting with representatives of Armenian community organizations. The Foreign Minister met with Caroline Mağar, President of the Armenian Assembly of America, Anthony Barsamian, Co-Chair of the Assembly's Board of Trustees, Brian Ardouny, Executive Director of the Assembly, Raffi Hamparian, President of the Armenian National Committee of America, Aram Hamparian, Executive Director of the Committee's Washington office, and Ani Chaghlasyan, a member of the Armenian National Committee for Justice.
During the meeting, the Minister presented to his interlocutors the situation created in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression, supported directly by Turkey and involving foreign militant terrorists, as well as the steps being taken toward a ceasefire.
Representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America and the Armenian National Committee updated the Minister about the community's concerns regarding the situation around Artsakh due to Azerbaijan’s aggression and informed him about the steps they are taking and future plans.
