Troops and Military Equipment Deployed in Northern Iran: Media Reports

Iranian open sources have published videos depicting the deployment of troops and military equipment by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Khodaafarin and Jolfa regions. The Telegram channel 'Sepahcybery' shared a video in which an IRGC soldier states that the 'Imam-e-Zaman' brigade of the Corps will be stationed along the border to protect the country’s territorial integrity and the safety of the residents in Khodaafarin and Jolfa.

Azariha also released a video regarding the transportation of military equipment by the Iranian Armed Forces, mentioning that it seems Iran has intensified its operations at a time when Turkey has announced its intention to seize Zangezur and cut the Armenia-Iran border, in addition to sending terrorists.

The Iranian IRNA agency, referencing 'Sepahnews', similarly reported that the 'Imam-e-Zaman' brigade of the IRGC ground forces has been deployed to the northwestern borders of the country. According to the publication, tanks and other military equipment have been deployed in Khodaafarin and Jolfa to ensure the country's security, which borders Nakhchivan.
