Sotk-Karvachar Highway Remains Closed for Safety Reasons

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the highways within Armenia are passable. However, due to public safety concerns, the Sotk-Karvachar highway remains closed.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open only for freight transport due to the state of emergency.

Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has reported that the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.
