Azerbaijan Enters Strict Quarantine: What Are Aliyev and Erdogan Afraid Of?
Turkish-Kurdish issues expert Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: "The artificial state called Azerbaijan has entered a strict quarantine regime. Previously, the numbers of the crown virus were much worse than they are now, but they have decided to impose such strict measures at this time.
When you read the list of areas under strict quarantine, it becomes clear what both Aliyev and Erdogan are afraid of. From October 24 at 00:00, a strict quarantine has been imposed in the regions of Qakh, Zaqatala, Bilasuvar, Sabirabad, Shabran, Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Sheki, Shirvan, Samukh, Shamakhi, Guba, Agstafa, Khachmaz, and Ismayilli.
Starting from October 25, the regions of Naftalan, Lerik, Astara, Salyan, Masally, Gabala, and Khizi will also enter strict quarantine. These are mainly the areas where indigenous minorities and those with different religious orientations reside.
The dictator of Baku has also mobilized internal troops, giving them the right to open warning fire if orders are not followed."
