Hospital Beds Are Currently Struggling to Meet the Needs of Patients Requiring Medical Assistance, Says Arsen Torosyan

Health Minister Arsen Torosyan's appeal:

Dear compatriots,

The numbers of COVID-19 cases are rising significantly every day. Today, 2,213 new cases of the disease have been confirmed. A total of nearly 800 citizens are currently in severe and critical condition. As of this morning at 9 AM, 388 citizens require hospitalization. Hospital beds are currently struggling to meet the medical needs of patients.

Dear people,

I urge and call on you to adhere to all anti-epidemic rules. Moreover, please remind those who are not following them, endangering your health and that of your loved ones.

Allow medical staff to focus on evacuating and treating soldiers injured in combat operations and civilians. Wear masks, maintain social distancing, and practice hand hygiene.
