UEFA Punishes Azerbaijani Club ‘Karabakh’ for Military Salute
The European football associations union (UEFA) has imposed penalties on the Azerbaijani club ‘Karabakh’ for displaying a military salute during the UEFA Europa League playoff match against the Polish club ‘Legia’. This information was reported by the organization's press service.
Thirteen players and fourteen representatives of the club have received disciplinary sanctions in the form of a warning.
It is worth noting that fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh has been ongoing since September 27.
