A Number of Soldiers to Be Awarded State Honors for Skilled and Organized Artillery Operations - Defense Army

Lieutenant Colonel Arayik Artyushayi Avagimyann is one of the courageous heroes nominated for the 2nd class "Battle Cross" medal. The state award will be granted for his skilled and organized artillery actions, precise calculations, which have resulted in significant losses for the enemy and halted their attempts to advance.

In addition, the same category of state awards will be given to Sergeant Garik Karen Hamamyan for destroying two enemy tanks, Sergeant Hayk Arkadi Amirjanian, Private Edward Armeny Sarkisyan, Lieutenant Tigran Harutyun Karapetyan, and Sergeant Armen Yuri Avetisyan for each destroying two enemy tanks, along with Senior Lieutenant Levon Robert Altyunyan for destroying three enemy tanks.
