2474 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of October 23, 2474 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 73,310.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 14 citizens have died from the coronavirus in one day, raising the total number of deaths to 1145.

Additionally, 2 cases of death among coronavirus-infected patients due to other illnesses were recorded in one day, which brings the total number of such deaths to 329 as of October 23.

In total, 16 people have died in one day, increasing the total death count to 1474.

On the same day, 489 individuals recovered from the virus, with the total number of recoveries reaching 50,276. Currently, there are 21,560 individuals undergoing treatment (an increase of 1969 in one day).

A total of 5760 tests were conducted in one day, with 368,053 tests performed overall to date.
