14 People Die from COVID-19 in the Last 24 Hours, Aged 57-96
As of October 23 at 11:00 AM, a total of 73,310 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, among which 50,276 have recovered and 1,145 have resulted in death. Currently, 21,560 patients are receiving treatment for the disease. A total of 368,053 tests have been conducted.
Yesterday, 5,760 tests were conducted, resulting in 2,474 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease. There were 489 recoveries reported.
Regarding the deaths, the patients were aged 67 (male), 58 (female), 57 (male), 83 (male), 77 (female), 74 (female), 87 (female), 66 (male), 69 (female), 61 (male), 72 (male), 72 (female), 96 (male), and 74 (male). All had accompanying chronic diseases.
On the previous day, 2 death cases were recorded where the patients had contracted the coronavirus, but death occurred due to other health issues. The total number of such cases is 329.
