Two American Lobbying Firms Withdraw from Representing Azerbaijani Interests
According to the Armenian Assembly of America, two major American lobbying firms, DLA Piper and The Livingston Group, have withdrawn from representing Azerbaijani interests in Washington and have rejected what they call Azerbaijan's “blood money.” The initiators of this move, Anthony Barsamian and Van Grigoryan, stated that they will do everything possible to encourage other organizations to follow suit. This was reported by Zartonk Media.
In their statement, they mentioned, “To avoid being associated with the Aliyev regime, whose leader has promised to ‘wipe out Christian Armenians like dogs,’ these firms must stop taking blood money from Azerbaijan and Turkey, if they have any sense or feeling of American patriotism.”
