Tiran Khachatryan Awarded the Title of National Hero of Armenia

By the proposal of the Prime Minister and by the decree of the President of Armenia, Tiran Khachatryan has been awarded the title of National Hero of Armenia.

“Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, Part 1 of the Law on State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia, in recognition of his exceptional services in the protection and security of the homeland, as well as his selflessness and courage displayed during combat operations, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, First Deputy Chief, Lieutenant General Tiran Vazgen Khachatryan is awarded the Homeland Medal,” the decree states.
