Recognition of Genocide Is a Message to Aliyev and Erdogan: Adam Schiff

Congressman Adam Schiff, speaking about the decision of the Library of Congress to use the title "Armenian Genocide" henceforth, stated that the recognition of the Armenian genocide is not only a historical matter but also a message directed at Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He shared this on his Facebook page.

"This decision is becoming increasingly significant in the context of current events. A century-old genocide is felt very acutely as Azerbaijan and Turkey carry out atrocities in Artsakh and Armenia today, killing dozens of civilians and displacing thousands of people. Recognition of the genocide is not just a historical question; it is a message to Presidents Aliyev and Erdogan to intimidate us and impose silence. We will stand by Armenia and Artsakh," Schiff wrote.
