Erdogan's Position on the Ownership of Crimea Is Not Important, Says Putin
The position of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the ownership of Crimea is not important; the main thing is that Russia's interests are reliably protected, said Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the Valdai Discussion Club, according to RIA Novosti.
“As for the aspirations of the Turkish president regarding the Crimea issue, I do not know about that. I am not interested in it, as Russia's interests are reliably protected. Do not have the slightest doubt about that,” Putin stated.
Recall that during his speech, he also touched upon the topic of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, emphasizing that the positions of Russia and Turkey do not coincide on this issue.
