Do Not Fall For Such Provocations: A Statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has released a statement, which we present below:

“Dear citizens,

Considering the sensitivity of the topic, as well as our collective desire and efforts to support the families of our fallen heroes who have sacrificed for the defense of our country, we kindly urge you not to fall for such provocations.

Let us remind you that the process for receiving burial assistance for servicemen who have died as a result of military operations has been clarified. You can apply for the compensation of 700,000 drams for burial expenses at the moment of receiving the death certificate and obtain the funds within one day.

To receive the funds, you may submit your application at the civil registration offices at the time of obtaining the death certificate, to the Ministry of Defense’s social protection department, as well as to the territorial divisions of social security.”
