Andranik Piloyan Awarded Title of National Hero of Armenia

By the decree of President Armen Sarkissian, General-Major Andranik Sureni Piloyan, commander of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, has been awarded the Homeland Order.

“Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, pursuant to Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as paragraph 1 of Article 5.3 of the Law on State Awards and Honorable Titles of the Republic of Armenia, for his exceptional services in the defense of the homeland and ensuring security, for his selflessness and bravery demonstrated during combat operations, General-Major Andranik Sureni Piloyan, commander of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, is awarded the Homeland Order,” states the presidential decree.
