71 Rockets Fall in Iran from Karabakh Conflict Zone
The Deputy Governor for Political and Security Affairs of East Azerbaijan Province in Iran announced that more than 70 rockets have fallen in areas near the city of Khodafarin, which is close to the Iranian border, stemming from the Karabakh conflict zone. This was reported by the Iranian news website ParsToday.
According to the source, Aliyar Rastgun, the Deputy Governor, stated on Wednesday, “Fortunately, the rockets landed in agricultural areas of villages near Khodafarin city, causing no human or financial losses.”
Rastgun added that during the duration of the Karabakh conflict, a total of 68 rockets have fallen on Iranian territory, with 71 falling just today. He noted that “Iranian border forces have taken appropriate measures, and serious warnings have been issued to the parties involved in the conflict to prevent such incidents.”
