2306 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Armenia

As of October 22, Armenia has registered 2306 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 70,836.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, 10 citizens died from the virus in one day, raising the death toll to 1131. Additionally, there have been 6 reported deaths of patients infected with coronavirus who succumbed to other illnesses within the same day. As of October 22, the number of such cases stands at 327.

In total, 16 people died in one day, increasing the overall death count to 1458. The number of recoveries registered in one day is 568, leading the total number of recoveries to 49,787, while the number of active cases currently receiving treatment has risen to 19,591, an increase of 1722.

In one day, 5189 tests were conducted, with a cumulative total of 362,293 tests performed to date.
