We Do Not Aim to Form an Armed Group as a Political Entity, Marukyan
The leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" parliamentary faction, Edmond Marukyan, made a post on his Facebook page, calling for individuals to present themselves at military recruitment centers instead of asking to form an armed group through the party.
“Many of our teammates are already on the front lines, but I continue to receive the same query: that we should form a group as a party and go to the front. Since day one, I have urged everyone, both publicly and privately, to present themselves at the appropriate military recruitment centers and enlist in the Armenian Army. Dear party members and supporters, we do not aim to form an armed group as a political entity. We have a functioning state and corresponding state bodies and procedures; I kindly ask you to refrain from addressing me with such questions in the future. This is not a party issue. The war does not recognize political parties or teams. Today, there are no political parties; today, there is war and the Armenian Army, which conducts it and wins,” wrote Marukyan.
