Lori Governor Voluntarily Joins the Holy Duty of Defending the Homeland
Lori Governor Andrey Ghukasian has announced on his Facebook page that he is joining Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's call to voluntarily participate in the holy duty of defending the homeland.
“I, Lori Governor Andrey Ghukasian, without a moment’s hesitation, voluntarily join the holy duty of defending my homeland, responding to the call of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia,” he wrote. Minutes earlier, at the conclusion of a regional council meeting with the mayors of Lori, the community leaders unitedly and without hesitation responded to the Prime Minister's call, and they will tomorrow present the compositions of the volunteer units they will lead.
“Dear Lorigents, the time has come; there is no turning back. All those who understand the seriousness of the moment and are able to take up arms are urged to apply immediately to the Lori Regional Administration and community administrations,” Ghukasian continued. “I believe in our unity; I believe that the defense of the homeland is above everything for every Armenian child. And therefore, arms in hand. We will win,” he wrote.
