I, the only female mayor of Armenia, volunteer for the defense of the Homeland starting today: Diana Gasparyan

The mayor of Echmiadzin, Diana Gasparyan, in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's call, announced that she is volunteering for the defense of the Homeland starting today.

"I, the only female mayor of Armenia, declare that I am volunteering for the defense of the Homeland and will pursue my share of victory. I have attended the memorial services of all the brave martyrs of Echmiadzin during this time, sharing the grief of their wives, mothers, and sisters, and every time I returned home, I felt a sense of guilt as I slipped into my soft bed. I have seen 18-year-old soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Homeland, and I owe it to them to contribute in any way I can. Now, I, the only female mayor of Armenia, call upon the men of Echmiadzin to enlist from this moment forward, to form volunteer groups and join the defense of the Homeland. VOLUNTEERING DOES NOT ONLY MEAN GOING TO THE FRONT LINE. More details will be provided when you come to the city hall to volunteer," stated Mayor Diana Gasparyan of Echmiadzin.
