International Organizations Must Document All Events by Being Physically Present in Artsakh

The mass destruction and atrocities caused by the Azerbaijani armed forces in Artsakh are a direct result of years of international, particularly human rights organizations, refusing to visit Artsakh, despite our numerous calls, invitations, and warnings. This was stated by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, on his Facebook page.

"They must document all events by being physically present in Artsakh; they need to see and perceive everything with their own eyes. It is time to prove that the principle declared at the highest level—'No one should be left out of the border, and no right should be ignored'—is not just a beautiful expression and an illusion but a principle that protects real people in real life. We must prove that the right of a child to a happy childhood, the mother's right to raise her child under peaceful skies, and the grandparents' right to enjoy life with dignity have not been abolished by anyone; no political motive can affect the protection of human rights, and that’s final," he wrote.
