1234 New Coronavirus Infections and 12 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of October 20, Armenia has confirmed 1234 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 66,694. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 10 citizens have died from the virus in a single day, increasing the death toll to 1101.

In addition, there have been 2 recorded deaths of patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses over the past day. As of October 20, the total number of these death cases stands at 318, bringing the overall death count to 1419.

In one day, 526 individuals have recovered, totaling 48,734 recoveries to date, while 16,541 are currently undergoing treatment. A total of 2893 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, making the overall number of tests carried out so far 352,764.
